The Cloverhearts are newcomers to the Celtic punk scene and have quickly established themselves as a force to be reckoned with. The band is led by Australian frontman, singer and songwriter Sam Cooper, who with his engaging manner celebrates every concert with wit and energy as if it were the last. The Cloverhearts have already amassed millions of streams and have performed on stage with the likes of The Mahones, Ferocious Dog, Booze & Amp, Glory and Mr. Irish Bastard.
Previously, Sam had dedicated himself to skate punk and although the Celtic scene is new territory for the singer, this is exactly where his strengths lie. With his fresh take on traditional Celtic instruments, the songwriter brings a breath of fresh air to the official Celtic punk playlist, in which The Cloverhearts appear between top dogs like Dropkick Murphys and Flogging Molly. The bagpipe anthems and tin-whistle earworms go down just as well with street punks as they do with slightly drunk Pogues fans.
Most recently, The Cloverhearts played at festivals such as Mighty Sounds (CZ) and Rock im Ring (IT).
A successful tour of Japan was also on the program in 2023. And The Cloverhearts are just getting started. The schedule for 2025 and 2026 is already filling up and will take the band from Bratislava to Glasgow. The next album "Loving in Squalor" will be released at the end of 2024.
