Today there is the perfect symbiosis between rock and surf. Some come from the surf hotspot Berlin and others from the rock metropolis Hamburg. This is how they describe themselves:

The Figs
The vibes of the Beatles, the energy of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and the atmospheric depth of Pink Floyd - all made in Hamburg. We are The Figs, Moritz on vocals and bass, Cosmo on guitar and Jannis on drums. Our sound is characterized by the style of the 60s
a pinch of surf vibes, and contemporary indie. We released our debut single "Elephant Man" on April 12th and more songs are already on the way!

Cactus for Breakfast
Meet Cactus for Breakfast, a surf rock crew from Berlin - a city that may not be near the waves, but still has the beach vibe of 60's western movies. Our tunes are a melting pot of western cowboy sound, bluesy soul and the energetic atmosphere of surf rock. There's Robin (vocals and guitar), Shane (vocals and guitar), Thomas (bass) and Timo (drums). We were founded in 2023 and are currently preparing our first mini-album, which will cause a stir in summer 2024. We are about to get started!
