Irish cult folk band The High Kings have been wowing audiences around the world, filling sold-out concert halls and attracting an ever-growing fan base. Following the resounding success of "The Road Not Taken" tour, the High Kings are delighted to announce the "Step It Out World Tour", which begins in November with six concerts in Germany.

Germany is one of the five biggest fan bases for the High Kings' music. The High Kings' unique blend of traditional Irish folk music and contemporary sensibility is a testament to their ongoing commitment to preserving and innovating Irish folk music for a new generation of listeners.

The year 2024 has been a milestone year for The High Kings so far. They surpassed the 1.6 million monthly listeners mark on Spotify and reached over 5 million streams in just one week in March this year. Since its release in June 2023, the latest album "The Road Not Taken" has reached over 14 million streams, in addition to reaching number one independent album in Ireland, number one in the folk category, number two in all genres and number two in the singer-songwriter category in the US. It was also number one in the bestseller charts on Amazon Germany and number one on iTunes in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands.

Standout hits such as 'Chasing Rainbows', 'The Streets of Kinsale', 'Connemara Bay' and the poignant famine song '1845' continue to be streamed in their thousands every week. In addition to their streaming success, The High Kings have played to their biggest audiences to date in Ireland, the US (with two completely sold out tours) and Australia in 2024.
