After her alcohol withdrawal, Rona returns to Scotland's windswept Orkney Islands. As she rediscovers the dramatic landscape where she grew up, memories of her childhood intermingle with the recent events that have set her on the road to recovery. Nora Fingscheidt (SYSTEMSPRENGER) adapts Amy Liptrot's autobiographical novel "Nightlights" with an as always wonderful Saoirse Ronan, who delivers a tour-de-force performance here.
