After years of excess, Rona returns to her home on the remote Orkney Islands. As she rediscovers the unique landscape in which she grew up, her childhood memories intertwine with the last time she was addicted. Her departure to the city at the time and the following years in London ended in a painful crash. But little by little, the encounter with the harsh nature of the islands becomes an opportunity for a new life.

When Nora Fingscheidt, the director of SYSTEMSPRENGER, and the super-talented actress Saoirse Ronan work together, the result can only be one thing: A movie full of emotional explosive power, at eye level with its protagonist.
