Former projectionist Samid has a dream: he wants to open a movie theater in his village in the hills of Azerbaijan. He already has a hall and an analog projector; all he needs is a working projector lamp and a film. Samid gets help from his neighbor's child Ayaz, who is two generations younger and likes to make films with his cell phone. The unlikely pair have to overcome a number of hurdles and setbacks. A wonderful ode to friendship and the magic of cinema - even if not all the villagers feel it.
