A military show in a class of its own on a major tour of Germany

Celtic magic and Scottish joie de vivre - that's what the audience can experience when THE SCOTTISH MUSIC PARADE comes to Germany.
Bagpipers, drummers, musicians, singers and dancers, all directly from Edinburgh, Scotland, will take the audience on an evening-long journey through Scotland that is as thrilling as it is varied - in 2024 also as open-air events on selected open-air stages.

In front of a castle backdrop with towers and battlements - the imitation of a Scottish castle - the artists present ever new facets of Scottish culture. Just as the impressive sound of the bagpipes and drums roared through the hall and gripped the people in the stands, the next moment soulful ballads full of longing and vastness created an intoxicating silence in the hall. The participating artists are among the best that Scotland has to offer and turn the event into an authentic "Scottish Tattoo". Most of the participants are regular performers at the world-famous Edinburgh Tattoo. The bagpipers and drummers include many winners of international competitions.

Even the combination of traditional bagpipe playing and modern rock music is a success. When the guitarists turn up the volume with their electric guitars and the entire ensemble gradually joins in with their traditional instruments, for example to the Eagles anthem "Hotel California", Mike Rutherford's (GENESIS) "The Living Years", Coldplay's "Every Teardrop is a Waterfall" or Linking Park's "Castle of Glass", goosebumps are guaranteed.
Finally, the regiment of drummers brings the hall to the boil with their "drum fireworks".

The cheerful and lively Scottish dances, on the other hand, exude esprit and an exuberant festive atmosphere. In ever-changing formations, magnificent costumes and costumes, the artists take to the stage and inspire each other with their immense joy in music and dance.

When the Scottish anthem "Highland Cathedrale" is played in the misty haze after an original canon salute* and the bagpipers and drummers in their uniforms parade through the aisles close to the audience, a breath of real Highland air wafts through the hall!
