Christian (Claes Bang) is the smart curator of one of the largest museums in Stockholm. The next spectacular exhibition he is preparing is "The Square". It is a square that is supposed to act as a moral protection zone and question the dwindling trust in the community. But like most modern people, Christian's trust is not far off - he also locks the door to his stylish apartment and would not park his Tesla unattended in a dodgy neighborhood. When Christian is robbed and shortly afterwards the provocative media campaign for "The Square" blows up in his face, his own self-image and that of society begin to totter. (Source: distributor)
