The band plays original compositions by Eva Klimmek, modern jazz with influences from pop, rock and free improvisation, alongside standards from pop and jazz.
Important role models include Billie Eilish, Tash Sultana, Linkin Park, Eminem, Kanye West, Miles Davis, Keith Jarrett, Kenny Wheeler, Claus Stötter and Maria Palmqvist.
In her compositions, Eva points out grievances in modern Western culture:
The feeling of hopelessness in the face of the suffering caused by man-made climate change;
the incredibly charged interpersonal metropolitan atmosphere full of anger and lone wolves.
The lyrics remind us of what really counts: a loving togetherness, a good grounding.
They encourage listeners to confide in each other, to show their weaknesses & to live more in connection.
