The Vices

The very young band from Groningen manages the balancing act between Britpop, surf rock and indie. Great melodies meet partly minimalist, partly hard rocking parts. The Vices present themselves with a lot of impetuous joy of playing and enthusiasm.

In January 2019, Floris van Luijtelaar (guitar/vocals), Jonathan Kruizenga (organ/guitar), Simon Bleeker (bass) and Mathijs Louwsma (drums) founded the band The Vices in the provincial capital of Groningen. It was formed from the remnants of the previous band Ten Years Today, in which Luijtelaar, Bleeker and Louwsma had already played together.

In 2025, they are on tour to present their new and now third album "Before it might be gone" live.
