Theater Kunstdünger: Die verknotete Prinzessin

Isolde and the poor eggman Rudolf meet by chance and are struck by love as if by lightning. But the money-hungry queen, Isolde's stepmother, forbids their marriage.

Rudolf can no longer imagine life without Isolde and is ready to die. The stepmother takes advantage of these feelings and sends Rudolf to the knot octopus Gordon to retrieve the stolen state treasure - a seemingly impossible task, as Gordon swallows them all and spits them out again as knots. Isolde travels after Rudolf and is able to rescue him. But the price is high: she is tied up in knots. Rudolf marries her anyway, because: "Better a knot in the stomach than a knot in the head". The theme of acceptance and living with a disability plays an uncomplicated role in this fairy tale.
