In the decisive phase of the presidential election campaign, a themed week on the US elections from Monday, October 14 to Friday, October 18, 2024 will place a special focus on the domestic political framework of the USA and discuss this in programs for students, teachers and the general public. The Amerikahaus looks at the US elections from a historical perspective, sheds light on the rifts between the political camps and the associated culture clashes, addresses the specific issues in the election campaign and analyzes the formal pillars of American democracy from voting rights to the Electoral College.

Teachers will have the opportunity to record their attendance at the election events in a US Elections Education Passport, which can probably be submitted to schools as proof of continuing education.
