TO ATHENA - Chamber Pop

Chamber pop, melancholy, lyrics that directly reflect and sting. Music that dances between worlds. To Athena allows introspective and fragile gems in Swiss German alongside sparkling and cinematic pop in English to coexist on the same stage. Greatness is often found in the small, in the details. In the lyrics that reach into the darkness but always allow the light in as well. Fragility, strength, and the notes in between.

Growing up in a family of violin makers, To Athena was in contact with music from birth. A passion for stringed instruments, a childhood of 80s synth-pop and an awareness of relevant topics now form the amalgam from which To Athena creates her cosmos.
Her debut album "Aquatic Ballet" was released in October 2020. In her second album "The Movie" (release date 20.10.2023), she delves even deeper into her inner world and searches for reasons and abysses, which she distils in both English and Swiss-German lyrics.

In 2023, To Athena was honored with the Swiss Music Award in the "Artist Award" category for her work.

Roosmarijn is an experimental and melodic-pop artist from Arnhem, The Netherlands. Her music transcends genres, blending the soulful intimacy of singer-songwriter traditions with the evocative depth of the viola, creating a one-of-a-kind sonic experience. She turns rooms into experiences, and has played a remarkable range of live gigs where she made stages in the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Iceland, UK, Sweden, Norway and France her home.
Five years after the release of her EP "Inside Out," Roosmarijn's debut album, "Wide Open Space," will be released on November 15, 2024, via Backseat.
