Nouvelles Chansons de Cologne

Toi et moi are the German-French duo Julia and Raphael. They have been part of the GMO family for several years now and from their first self-released albums to the two GMO releases "n'allume pas le feu" and "l'univers parallèle", they have steadily won over more and more listeners and concert-goers for their "Nouvelles Chansons de Cologne". With "Suzy, Carla, Babette" and "Vas-y Sophie" (feat. another GMO band: Jenny And The Mexucats) and other songs, they have even become radio favorites that can be heard again and again on the airwaves beyond the mainstream (WDR, BR, HR ...). Thanks to this and their rousing concerts, toi et moi have earned themselves more and more gigs and audiences throughout Germany. On October 18, they will be coming over for a short duo concert in support of their new label colleagues.

SARRIA

Retrofuturistic rock

Sarria from Malaga is considered one of the greatest promises of current Spanish rock and pop music. The artist has managed to create an unmistakable and unique sound inspired by a range of classic bands (The Doors, Pink Floyd, Beatles), modern acts (The Lemon Twigs, Parcels, Wilco), artists from his Andalusian homeland and a touch of the best of the psychedelic era of the 60s and 70s. He shows these influences in his energetic guitar riffs and powerful voice, combining creative tones and captivating lyrics that reach audiences of all ages. This blend is so compelling that Sarria has been wowing audiences on some of Spain's biggest festival stages this summer. To mark the release of his new album "El Mundo Es Cruel (pero creo en él)" ["The world is cruel (but I believe in it)"] in Germany (vinyl and digital), he is now coming to Cologne for his first performance here. The album was mixed by John Agnello (Sonic Youth, Dream Syndicate, Dinosaur Jr., Aerosmith, Kurt Vile) and mastered at the legendary Sterling Sound Studios (John Lennon, Bruce Springsteen, Ramones). This is another indication of the international interest Sarria is already attracting.

TYLEE MAY

Psychedelic flower pop

Tylee May is the new indie and alternative pop hopeful from Cologne. Tylee writes and performs her psychedelic flower pop songs, which could just as easily come from the Anglo-American scene of female singer-songwriters. Musically, they range from idiosyncratic, melancholy ballads to punk influences. Her lyrics are characterized by her inner world and the processing of experiences and feelings through music. This is exactly what is conveyed at her concerts - the set is full of contrasts, sometimes rousingly energetic, then again vulnerable and gentle. Tylee has released 3 singles on GMO so far, with a first album to follow in spring 2025. Her songs are produced by toi et mois Raphael Hansen, who also plays in her live band.
