TON AB: Duo Voltige

Playing as a duo means maximum intensity. Great vulnerability on stage, always being able and having to rely on the other, also strengthens and unites. Their own compositions and favorite pieces resound in an individual mixture of influences from the past and present. Impressions of idyllic moments on the banks of the Seine are combined with the colorful hustle and bustle of small towns around the world, the dark sounds of a traditional jazz club meet the modern colors of a loft and are as close as an intimately performed pop ballad or as far away as the reverb from an infinite loop.

The two courageous musicians are Kerstin Haberecht and Lukas Roos. They play with both acoustic and electronic sounds, exploring the boundaries of craftsmanship and technology.

The concert series TON AB is a cooperation between the Wiesbaden Cultural Office and the Wiesbaden Music & Art School. Every first Wednesday of the month, bands and soloists from Wiesbaden's local music scene take to the stage at the Kulturforum.
