"Tough Water" - dance meets 3D animation
After works of visual art took their place in the "Bilker Bunker" in the opening exhibition "From Shelter to Free Space", the performing arts will move into the former shelter at the beginning of February. "Tough Water" marks the start of the new "Art Performance" format. The performance "Tough Water" will take place from February 1 to 4 in the exhibition rooms of the "Bilker Bunker" and impresses with its special combination of dance and 3D animation.
"Tough Water" is not only a premiere in and of itself, but also the first performance ever to take place in the "Bilker Bunker". In future, various artistic disciplines will be more closely interlinked and performing arts will be an integral part of the exhibitions.
In the performance "Tough Water", the audience can expect a fusion of different arts: Contemporary dance, electronic music, live improvised vocal performances and 3D animation are combined into a harmonious whole. Digital worlds by renowned artist Florian Etti unfold under the theme of "Fluide". The audience has a bird's eye view of the choreographers and performers Yoav Bosidan and Daniel Smith as well as the singer Thomas Huy, who immerse themselves in Florian Etti's fascinating virtual dimensions. The boundaries between reality and imagination become blurred. The result is a unique visual and physical experience.
