After surviving a plane crash in the Amazon rainforest as a child, Rebecca helps her father, a missionary. When illegal loggers clear the land of the indigenous people, the two have to take a stand. With the help of breathtakingly immersive nature shots, writer and director Pia Marais tells a sensitive drama that never simplifies the relationship between man and nature, between whites and indigenous people and also between father and daughter, but deals with it in all its complexity.
