Traxler zeichnet Goethe: Ausstellungseröffnung

In the organizer's words:

The author, illustrator and cartoonist Hans Traxler is a master of comic art and an expert on Goethe. For more than six decades, he has been bringing us closer to the Weimar classic in books and cartoons in a sympathetic way and exploring previously unknown sides of the poet with his pencil. He portrayed the mischievous author in Rome as well as the master in the garden, at the computer or doing morning exercises. This year we are celebrating Goethe's 275th birthday and Traxler's 95th. The genius of word art and the genius of the cartoon meet in a special exhibition. It goes without saying that Goethe will also be on the ball during the European Football Championship.
