"Nochmal von vorne" (Kiepenheuer & Witsch) tells the story of Rosa, who, after the death of her father, tries to make sense of her crazy Jewish family and the question of what holds a family together after a century of persecution and violence. Following her acclaimed debut "Otto", Dana von Suffrin presents a family story that the Tukan jury described as "virtuoso, full of bitter wit and masterful in its apparent lightness". The laudatory speech will be given by Tonio Schachinger, winner of the German Book Prize 2023 for his novel "Echtzeitalter".
