In this documentary film, four wanton queers (Ichgola Androgyn, Bev StroganoV, Tima die Göttliche and Ovo Maltine), who met in West Berlin in the mid-1980s, recount their lives. What they all have in common is that they are not just show tunes, but are also politically active in AIDS education, campaigns against violence against gays, the whore movement and the fight against right-wing radicalism and racism. The film about these unconventional queers shows an important part of Berlin culture. Their biographies are as colorful as a sequined dress, held together by the common thread of their fag life, their joint shows and political actions. (von Praunheim, D 2001 - FSK 16)
