I never knew a thing could do so much. I never thought so, but now I'm starting. What can I do and what can the sponge do? Am I still thinking or is the comb thinking?
THINGS THINK - do you know what that is? Have you ever heard it before? DINGEN?! Is thing a thing? Or are things several things? What things are there around us and what can you do with things? And above all: what can things do to us? Can things actually think and think thoughts?

With DINGE DINGEN, Julia Keren Turbahn and Jan Rozman, together with Jan Kress, invite us into an overflowing world of things. A world of possibilities in which they encounter things and things encounter them in different ways. Is that your thing? Then join us: the playful performance leaves room for interpretation, discovery and encounters and invites everyone aged five and over to do things.

Pia Katharina Jendreizik, part of the curation team:
"The DGS used on stage is very artistic and beautiful to look at. The translation of music into DGS by the deaf performer is very successful. Also great: the hearing performers see the gestures on stage and try to copy them and relate them to the objects on stage. The result is a physically demanding performance that impressed me."

The TURBO youth jury:
"We found it very funny and creatively designed. We especially liked the stage filled with things. The performance of acting, dance and movement was phenomenal. The matching musical interludes created a musical feeling that went well with the play and the theme."

*Deaf includes different identities and life realities such as deaf, hard of hearing, CI-wearing and later deaf.

• Accessibility: Wheelchair spaces and beanbag seats available, with audio description
• Notes on sensory stimuli: There are scenes with almost complete darkness. In some scenes, many things happen at the same time, which can create a feeling of chaos.
