How must a person behave in order to gain perfect entry into society?

VALERIE HENNEKEMPER addresses these and other questions in the third and final part of her series exhibition u n e n d l i c h e r s p a ß, whose title v o l. z e r o /genesis already hints at the direction this euphoric dernière is taking:

HENNEKEMPER stages the genesis of a "perfect human being". She uses light, clear lines and the polychrome colors that are significant to her work to visually play with the errors of modern society. In doing so, she raises questions through illustration, painting and performance that are long overdue and seek answers through the aesthetic experience of the recipient. "How can I be so bursting with happiness and so absolutely functional?" The tried-and-tested rule applies: only enter if you have a happiness hormone overflow. Anyone who cries will be thrown out.
