The UNIKATE sales exhibition is once again taking place at the Düsseldorf Chamber of Crafts. Together with its guests, the Angewandte Kunst Düsseldorf e.V. group will be showing unusual, handmade products; in their contemporary design, a high-quality and regional alternative to industrial mass production, in which the boundaries between art, craft and design are deliberately fluid. You can discover works made of glass, wood, ceramics, leather and textile materials. Photography, jewelry and light objects show the diversity within the group.
Where will the young designers' journey take them in the interplay between craft and design? Seven students from the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences, Faculty of Textile and Clothing Technology, provide exciting answers to this question, exhibiting their fresh ideas and sustainable design positions.
