URBAN ART im XXL-Format – Die Mural Harbor Gallery in Linz

The projection 'URBAN ART in XXL format' shows a portrait of the Mural Harbor Gallery in Linz, Austria, one of the world's largest urban art projects. The outdoor gallery is a center of global subculture. Oversized murals by renowned international graffiti artists are displayed in the public space of the Linz harbor. For over a decade, the Mural Harbor Gallery has become a popular destination for graffiti writers, street artists and muralists from all over the world. The entire spectrum of this art form is concentrated in just one place.
Media artist Heinrich Brinkmöller-Becker visited Mural Harbor with his camera. In an animated show, he projects his photo sequences onto the planetarium's 360° dome, which is particularly suitable for displaying the murals, some of which are oversized, and promises a highly evocative experience.
