V_RST_LL_NG is contemporary circus and language.
Words are dropped and acrobats are caught.
The ambiguity of the term "performance" is at the center: getting to know each other - the imaginative power of imagination - the performance.
The duo provides insights into everyday training and the life of the artists. The artists' stories are surprisingly honest, spontaneous and full of wit. The audience's imagination is stimulated and cleverly incorporated. But the artistic performance is not neglected either.
Movements speak - language moves.
A piece that is touching, approachable, multi-layered and always surprising.
Chris and Iris met at the Academy for Circus and Performance Art in Tilburg, the Netherlands.
They perform worldwide with well-known companies such as Cirque Éloize from Canada, Cirkus Cirkör from Sweden and La Soirée from Australia.
The duo has won numerous awards, including the silver medal at the Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain in Paris.
Since 2021, they have been performing the piece GAP of 42, which has already been shown over 100 times in seven countries in its first two years.
