A thrilling comedy, a captivating power play, an erotic trap. The play VENUS IM PELZ by David Ives was the script for Roman Polanski's 2013 film of the same name.

Thomas, author and director, is desperately looking for the right cast for Wanda, the female lead in his new play. At the end of a day of unsuccessful auditions, with everyone else having already left, a young actress chaotically snowballs into Thomas' rehearsal room. He is reluctant to let her audition at all. But Wanda is persistent, charming and knows more than she can possibly know. Her audition turns into a subtle game of cat and mouse that increasingly blurs the boundaries between fantasy and reality, seduction and power.
