Vernissage Khrystyna Haas

In the organizer's words:

On Sunday, January 12, the Ukrainian artist Krystyna Haas will open her current exhibition at 11:00 a.m. in the balou gallery of the balou cultural center. "Beats of Calmness / Takte der Ruhe invites visitors to consciously experience and enjoy the feeling of calm and the beauty of moments in between," is how the artist describes the concept. Inspired by Alan Watts' concept of "Beauty in Nothingness", the exhibition explores how calm and restlessness interact to form a deeper harmony. Every beat of life - be it full of stillness or characterized by a sudden departure - is part of this, says Haas.

Dr. Rudolf Preuss will introduce the vernissage. The event will be accompanied by music from pianist Harald Schollmeyer. The free exhibition can be visited at galerie balou until April 2025. All information can be found on the homepage of the cultural center balou-dortmund.de.
