Vernissage: Naturstein-Bauwerke

In the organizer's words:

The Chair of Construction Materials at TU Dortmund University has been studying natural stone for buildings for 10 years. The focus is on the weathering processes of sandstones and their restoration.

The exhibition in the Baukunstarchiv NRW is the first to show a selection of this ongoing work. The topics are stone formation - stone weathering - restoration with examination methods and natural stone structures. At the center of the exhibition is the experience - seeing & feeling - as well as sampling of stones by the visitors. A vernissage will take place on January 23 at 7 pm.
