Viktor Crime Award mit Sebastian Fitzek und den Zucchini Sistaz

We are looking for the thriller stars of tomorrow! The event will take place in Gelsenkirchen's beautiful Kulturpalast, the Kulturkirche Heilig Kreuz, one of the most beautiful brick impressionist buildings of the 1920s. Thriller author Sebastian Fitzek will be presenting the "Viktor Crime Award", which he himself donated in 2018, there for the third time. This time for the best international and the best national thriller debut of the last two years. The total prize money is 6,666 euros. The award ceremony will once again be murderously exciting, as an expert jury, which includes Sebastian Fitzek, will announce two shortlists for the three national and international nominees at the end of August, but the winners will not be announced until the evening of the event. Visitors are therefore in for the unknown. The two winners will read from their current thrillers on the evening and - like Sebastian Fitzek - will talk to host Stefan Keim and presenter Margarete von Schwarzkopf about their past and future work and plans. The "Viktor Crime Award" is intended for a new voice in thriller literature. It recognizes thriller writers who have produced the best debut on the German-language market in the last two years. The award takes its name from the character of Viktor Larenz from Sebastian Fitzek's first novel, the thriller "Die Therapie", with which he made a surprising breakthrough in 2007. The Zucchini Sistaz are responsible for the appropriate music. But don't worry, despite all the solemnity of the award ceremony, the Zucchini Sistaz don't serve up dried vegetables, but juicy swing. Their three-part singing is fascinating. With fishnet stockings and false eyelashes, the cheeky ladies catapult us into the golden swing era. Their musical repertoire draws on popular music from the 1920s to the 1950s, shimmering and flirting with quotes and attitudes from the entire history of popular music.
