Luis Vicente is a Portuguese trumpeter from Lisbon. He is a very active musician, playing in various groups with different concepts - from completely free to composed music - always with a sense of freedom that he can never give up.
He has played at dozens of venues and festivals across Europe and North America. Here together with Chad Popple and Jörg Hochapfel, who have known each other for almost 25 years. They play(ed) together in the Hamburg bands "Hosho", "Rocket #9" and "Piho Hupo".
The night-walking trust between the two allows the multi-instrumental musicians to improvise with Luis Vincente and break down all stylistic boundaries, exploring musical terrain previously undiscovered by themselves.
