In the organizer's words:

An unvarnished look behind the facade of the "carefree" beach vacation. The setting is a vacation resort, artificially created on the Adriatic coast of Italy. Meals are prepared on a piecework basis in the hotels' canteen kitchens, sunbeds and umbrellas are set up in endless rows on the beach, illuminated letters are polished to a high gloss. Vacation production workers are on duty around the clock, working tirelessly on behalf of the ultimate diversion.
