Club atmosphere instead of a classical concert hall: in the new "voiceXchange" concert series, singers from the NDR Vokalensemble bring a cappella music to Hamburg clubs and other alternative venues.

When classical music meets the groove of funk and soul

In January, Hamburg's Club Grünspan will be transformed into a venue for musical discoveries far removed from the classical music cosmos. In the tenth edition of the voiceXchange club concert, the sounds of classical vocal music merge with the powerful rhythms of funk and the sensual and emotionally profound melodies of soul music to create a program that moves body and soul.

With the Grammy-nominated drummer and finger drumming pioneer David Haynes and the Berlin guitarist, conductor and composer Maximilian Bahr, the four singers of the NDR Vokalensemble have invited two experienced tour guides from the scene.
