The new season gets off to a festive start with the traditional opening gala in the main auditorium. General Director Michael Schulz will introduce new and familiar faces of the ensemble and lead through a varied program that will arouse curiosity about the highlights of the coming season. Together with the Neue Philharmonie Westfalen, the music theater, puppet theater and dance ensembles will present excerpts from upcoming productions and draw attention to the plans for the coming months. For the first time, the MiR.LAB will also be presenting its extraordinary impulses.

The presentation of the 25th Gelsenkirchen Theater Prize for outstanding artistic achievements, sponsored by the Sparkasse Gelsenkirchen Foundation, is also eagerly awaited.
