In the racist terrorist attack in Hanau on February 19, 2020, 23-year-old Said Etris Hashemi was seriously injured, his younger brother Said Nesar and eight other young people died. This day changed everything forever, not only in the lives of those affected, but in society as a whole. His book is Etris' personal account of what he experienced and a sharp social analysis. It makes an important contribution to contemporary Germany and to the urgently needed debate on right-wing terror and structural racism in Germany.
