Anyone who sees Wally and Ami Warning together senses a blind understanding and a deep common musical basis after just a few bars. Despite their differences, father and daughter complement each other perfectly and their intimate, relaxed interplay almost automatically captivates listeners.

Wally Warning was born in Aruba and dedicated his life to music from an early age. Over the years, he has developed his very own style: a multicultural crossover that cannot be pigeonholed. Echoes of reggae and soul, as well as Latin and gospel - the multi-instrumentalist and singer casually jumps back and forth between different styles, languages and bodies of sound. The Caribbean lightness with which he tells of the power of love is unmistakably "Wally". His charisma and presence on stage is enhanced by the interplay with his daughter Ami.

Ami Warning has been enjoying great success as a solo artist for some time now, most recently with German-language songs. In March 2022, she won the GEMA German Music Author Award for best up-and-coming musician. Her latest album AUSZEIT ( 2024 ) made it into the German charts. AMI's soft, deep, very special vocals are characterized by soul - beats and flow, on the other hand, are inspired by hip hop. Their authentic, honest lyrics testify to grounding and curiosity.

Together, Ami and Wally experiment virtuously with rhythms, voices and instruments. Their interplay never seems staged, they resonate naturally together - so that their positive energy is almost automatically transferred to the audience.
