Semester kick-off at the University of Potsdam

Together with the University of Potsdam, we are opening the new academic year with the "WarmUP! semester kick-off" event. The title is (old) familiar, but the format is new: the first semester welcome will take place as part of WarmUP! in the Waschhaus. Afterwards, we will open the Market of Opportunities and the Waschhaus Potsdam will introduce you to its diverse program.

First semester welcome | October 17, 2024, 5 p.m.

On October 17, 2024 we welcome all freshmen. An interesting and varied program awaits you. The President of the University, representatives of the state capital and other guests will welcome you and we will introduce you to different areas of university and student life.

Due to limited seating, participation is only possible with registration. You will find the registration form here soon.

WarmUP! semester kick-off | October 17, 2024, 6-10 p.m.

At 6 p.m. we will open the Market of Opportunities, where university groups and student councils of the University of Potsdam will present themselves, but also associations from Potsdam. Take a look around to see what's on offer at the university and in the city and how you can get involved. At the same time, various activities will take place in the Waschhaus. You can find the complete program below.

Studi Royal | October 17, 2024, 10 p.m.

WarmUP! is followed by "Studi Royal", the traditional semester kick-off party at the Waschhaus. An evening to get to know each other, dance and celebrate.
