The Warnemünde Tower Lighting is a spectacular New Year's event that takes place every year on January 1st in Warnemünde at the lighthouse. Thousands of visitors gather on the beach promenade to experience an impressive show that uses light, music, fireworks and laser effects to put the lighthouse in the limelight. The lighthouse becomes the central element of the production, while the show is accompanied by a themed story.
