Macro photography by Christina & Jan Behrens
Christina and Jan Behrens have discovered water drop photography for themselves. Marvels from the world of water, as delicate as mouth-blown glass.

The shapes are bizarre and inexhaustible: Columns, crowns, umbrellas. Swirled, twirled, scattered. Normally impossible for the human eye to capture, only the camera freezes the moment and reveals the beauty and dynamism that a bouncing drop can unfold. The technique of high-speed photography captures the aesthetics of the moment. For the Braunschweig internist Dr. Jan Behrens, known as a creative jazz pianist, macro photography is also a new form of artistic expression.
