We are punk* – Flinta* Jam Session

We are punk* is a collective of female musicians that supports Flinta* people in musical experimentation and networking through workshops, jam sessions and events.

The main reason for our project is the desire to reduce barriers for Flinta* people in music through mutual networking. These hurdles range from access to music in general, be it just learning an instrument, to access for musicians in general, such as becoming part of a band, finding a band rehearsal room, studio or getting a performance opportunity. We want to create this networking and initial access to music through instrument taster courses and open jam sessions, where perhaps the first experiences with an instrument can be deepened by playing together with other musicians.
