It's not just the brass bands at the Oktoberfest that will be intoning their "Prosit der Gemütlichkeit" on the Wiesn closing day. WE PLaY host George Bleicher and co-playmaker Käthe Kathowski also play their acoustic aces again at an advanced hour and encourage the party crowd to raise their glasses. Techno instead of tradition, house sound instead of tent music - a bit of a contrasting program is a must, even during the annual Wiesn madness. Gunnar Stiller, who clearly prefers sonorous electronics to handmade folk music, is also very loudly tooting the same horn. When DJing, the Berlin native prefers to make a brilliant impact by unleashing his tried-and-tested combination of techno and tech house with his characteristic funky basslines.
