When George teams up with Gorge, something good has to come out of it! George Bleicher is enriching his WE PLaY event series in January with a guest from Mannheim, namely Gorge. His real name is Pit Waldmann, but as Gorge he can look back on a vibrant DJ career and has been one of the most respected producers in the electronic scene since 2005 at the latest as co-founder of 8bit Records (alongside Nick Curly). Gorge has always been addicted to the beat. He is very open-minded and sees no reason to pigeonhole his music or himself. This is also evident in his DJ sets: "I'm not a DJ who just plays the obvious tracks to play it safe. I prefer to show people that you can have a good time with hypnotic, groovy sounds. And every night is different for me," he says. Mixing in a varied and surprising way is also a matter of honor for George Bleicher. Our long-standing resident DJ will be going all out with his near-namesake and will be pushing the players to the limit.
