Hair-monster braid hanging in a double act with "RIcce Meticce" from the famous Circus Festival in Paris. Seven courageous Colombians from The Robles on the high wire and the poetic clown Monsieur Momo from Nienburg, who will put a smile on Hanover's face: The Hannover Christmas Circus promises all this and plenty of high-class fun, excitement and sparkling magical moments at its 6th Grand Prix of Artists. From 20 December 2024 to 5 January 2025, the completely new program for the whole family can be experienced on the Schützenplatz. Where can you find the crème de la crème of international artistry? In Hanover - and only at Christmas time. As a nice present for the audience, because the Hanover Christmas Circus is entering the next round with the popular "Grand Prix of Artists". Under the direction of Marco Biasini, the festival for the whole family once again brings top-class Christmas circus to the state capital! The artists, who have won awards at major festivals all over the world, have to overcome a very special hurdle at the Leine: the audience decides who is the best of the best between the canopy and the ring floor. In the large, festively decorated and well-heated tent on the Schützenplatz, the Circus Elite promises unforgettable hours. From strong to weird, from beautiful to shrill, the festival shows excitement, fun and the spectacular. For the competition during the most glamorous time of the year between roast goose and presents, we have been able to persuade legends of circus and stage art as well as promising super talents from the Hanover region to perform. And you, dear audience, decide who will be the new superstar via app or with your cross on the ballot paper!
