Many people in Hamburg can hardly imagine Advent without the Christmas market at St. Michael's Church - and it has been around since 1922.
More than 100 exhibitors make their way to the Christmas market at St. Michael's every year. Handicrafts, fashion and jewelry are exhibited in the crypt, on the church square and in the parish hall. If you are looking for Christmas presents, you are sure to find what you are looking for here.
For the physical well-being
Food stalls with crêpes, sausages and mulled wine as well as the "Café of the Generations" in the Bachsaal of the parish hall will provide for your physical well-being. Coffee and cake are served in a festive atmosphere.
Program & entertainment
The Christmas market at the Michel offers fun for young and old. There is a varied entertainment program for children. They can make Christmas presents. At "Singen-Hören-Staunen", a program for families and children, songs are sung and stories are told to get you in the mood for Advent. At the Advent concert by the trombone choir, music can be heard from all the galleries of the church, while festive services and organ devotions complete the program for contemplation. Christmas can come.
