Here, lovingly designed wooden stalls present local (handicraft) art and create a contemplative atmosphere alongside background music, high-quality mulled wine and culinary highlights. The children's program offers free entertainment for the youngest of us, so you can sit back and relax.
In the organizer's words:
This is the ninth year that the small but exquisite family Christmas village in Eimsbüttel has opened its doors. The cozy ambience, designed with great attention to detail, provides Hamburgers young and old with unforgettable hours. Against the wonderful backdrop of the Apostelkirche church, local artists and craft exhibitors invite you to take a leisurely pre-Christmas stroll.
Children's program and Santa Claus
The children's program will be even more extensive this year. It ranges from face painting to making Christmas lights. There is also a games area where children can let off steam. Of course, Santa Claus will be stopping by on December 6. The children's program is free of charge.
Feasting, music, Christmas trees
Lovingly designed wooden stalls invite you to feast. Visitors can warm themselves at the covered campfire while listening to the music program or having a relaxed chat. Singer/songwriters and various bands provide the music.
