The Christmas market on Holstenplatz has a fresh new look and traditionally attracts visitors for a winter stroll with a balanced mix of arts and crafts, punch and delicacies.
Holstenplatz remains cozy even when it's cold or the weather in northern Germany is chilly, as it is partly transformed into a cozy winter forest with bar tables to linger at and lots of illuminated fir trees. Once again, 99 illuminated LED stars hang in the trees and the approximately one-kilometer-long LED garland with thousands of light points also decorates the gables of the Christmas market stands and creates a Christmassy atmosphere on the market square.
The popular Rudi selfie point is back in the winter forest this year - there are also 4 other animal-shaped selfie points. The Christmas house is located on the Schevenbrücke this year.
In addition to delicious food and drinks at over 50 stalls, the Kiel Christmas market is also about warming up together, strolling around and getting in the mood for a wonderful Christmas season.
