Weihnachtsmarkt/Weihnachtsbaumverkauf Klövensteen

The Christmas tree sale at the Klövensteen forest game reserve will take place again this year and will be extended to include a small Christmas market in the pre-Christmas atmosphere. Under the motto: "From the sanctuary to the home", certified and organically produced Christmas trees are once again looking for a new home. These trees are of the highest quality, come mostly from the region and can even be delivered to your home on request. At the weekends, you can enjoy game meat products from the grill as well as hand-cut chips, mulled wine, children's punch, coffee from the private roastery, home-baked cakes, fresh waffles and a small selection of cold drinks in an atmospheric setting. Our food truck will also be serving venison pastrami sandwiches with pickled onions, smoked almonds, lamb's lettuce and cranberry sauce, as well as a delicious venison goulash with spaetzle. This year, the net proceeds from this charity event will mainly be donated to "Haus Mignon". This institute for (curative) education and interdisciplinary early intervention was founded back in 1975 and has been supporting children and young people in Hamburg since then who are impaired in their development due to premature birth, illness, disability or traumatic experiences. To this end, it also offers a living and protective space for children and young people who are unable to live with their families for a variety of reasons, including at the "Kinderhaus Mignon". The recognition of needs and potential as well as the holistic view of the children and young people should enable sensitive and loving support in their development. The counseling approach in the family system has the goal of "helping people to help themselves". We Lions consider this work for the weakest in society - especially in times of war, violence and displacement - to be very important!
