The legendary Comedian Harmonists were and are their great role models, but after more than 20 years of stage experience, the Nostalphoniker have definitely found their own style. The "Journey to the good old days" - the banner slogan of every nostalgia band - becomes a fast-paced stage show with a captivating presence. In their Christmas program, the five singers and their pianist present a mix of contemplative songs and evergreens, performed with their usual irony and one or two choreographic highlights.

Christmas time - a nostalgic time: who doesn't dream of softly trickling snow, a fairytale flood of presents, the sound of bells and a sparkling Christmas tree? In reality, things usually look different: It's too warm for snow, there are no ideas for presents, and when it comes to the stressful shopping for greenery, you wonder whether you could decorate the cactus that has been standing around uselessly all year. It's a good thing that the Nostalphoniker have the right repertoire for both sides. They don't just sing about Silent Night, Rudolph the Reindeer and the dream of White Christmas. In times of climate change, cactus, bathwater and summertime are also on offer. The cleverly presented Christmas show invites you to dream, to be moved and to laugh.
