Does the turn of the century give you a headache? Are you wondering what's in the air and what colors to wear during this transitional period? Only brown after red-green-yellow? Is everything really coming back, does it have to be like this and how can we prevent it? The legendary "Café Europa" has changed hands. Now the staunchly nationalist Bernd is running the place with his poisonous kitchen maid Alice, transforming the once cosmopolitan establishment into the "Deutsches Haus" restaurant. What remains is a waiter, a singer and a pianist who rebel against the new manager with subversive wit and critical tones. Can they get their "Europe" back?
