Based on our 3 successful plays "Whisky, Irish and Scottish Songs and Stories" - and yet completely different - it's now all about wine: philosophical, humorous, melancholy, varied with live music and great stories about the drink of the gods. However, our "Tarverne" is not only about wine, but also about singing, a bit about women, of course - and about men. Thousands of myths and stories surround this Dionysian drink...

5 actors/musicians present this evening with great enthusiasm in an appropriate setting. They explore the question of when the first man drank wine and how it came about, or why Alfredo Nelli drinks wine in an Italian cemetery, why women celebrate differently from men, why decent people should drink beer, why a phylloxera is not afraid of the future and what do the cook Bruna, Jesus, Horst Janssen and Baron Rothschild have to do with it? Selected delicious wines will be on offer at our wine bar on the stage!
