Lower Austrian wines and winegrowers at Nymphenburg Palace

A cordial invitation to taste top Austrian wines in Munich in a royal ambience!
A wine afternoon with the great wines of the Lower Austrian regional wine award, a small snack and interesting conversations.

What does the festive day look like in the palace?

Your tasting and discussion will start on the second floor of Nymphenburg Palace at the tables of the winners and placed winemakers. Around 35 winemakers will be coming to Munich in person to present their great current collections, and in the beautiful Hubertussaal there will be royal indulgence!
From 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 11, 2024, the Hubertussaal will open its doors on this wonderful summer day, 35 top winemakers, the winners and runners-up of the Lower Austrian State Wine Award 2024 await you there to fill your glass and celebrate with you!
Over 100 wines, including many Grüner Veltliners, Roter Veltliners and Pinot Blancs, Zweigelt and Merlots are available to taste, whether alone or with friends. The award-winning winegrowers from Lower Austria have wonderful stories and interesting information for you!

Take a relaxed stroll from one winegrower's table to the next, discover your favorite grape varieties and get to know wonderful people who put their heart and soul into making great winning wines. That's the program! The pleasure of getting to know each other is guaranteed.

We bring together the entire who's who of wine origins from Lower Austria at Nymphenburg Palace. Always along the Danube, once around Vienna and then up to the northwest, where the vines are to be found, from whose grapes these award-winning wines were lovingly made!
It is a rare and perfect opportunity to taste the wine-growing regions of Carnuntum, Kamptal, Kremstal and Wachau, as well as Weinviertel, Wagram, Traisental and Thermenregion side by side in a direct comparison: this is what Lower Austria tastes like!

And don't worry, nobody has to taste wine hungry, because we have the right wine accompaniment on offer.
Each paid admission ticket includes a voucher for a refreshing snack to go with the winning wines.
